Nearly anyone can train themselves to see the aura to one extent or another. Some
will see it simply as a slightly out-
Here’s a little exercise with which you can prove to yourself that the auric force-
1. Hold your finger tips and thumbs together loosely with your fingers apart as much as is comfortable (don’t strain to pull them apart).
2. Gaze at the junction between the fingers and thumbs with your eyes relaxed and slightly out of focus.

4. As you pull the fingers apart, you will see a rather blurry gray area between them. As you slowly pull them apart more, this area will grow thinner in the middle as if stretching. The further you separate them the thinner the energy between them thins, until it disappears. At that moment the energy is withdrawing back into each individual finger.
5. Before reaching the stage where the energy withdraws, try moving the fingers back and forth, closer and further apart and see what it does. By the time you finish with this exercise, you will be convinced of the aura’s reality.
Now, you may want to try to see the aura around the body, either your own or that
of another like-
If you are looking for your own aura, you will need a large mirror and a way to light the area dimly – perhaps a candle or two, or a nightlight. You also need a relatively clear wall or curtain behind you. Some people see the aura better against a dark background and others see it better against a light one. Try to arrange to have both so you can experiment.
If looking for a friend’s aura, you will need all the same things except the mirror.
The aura shows up better if the subject is nude, however, if this is not practicable,
you can still look for the nimbus, the halo around the head. This is the strongest
area for aura-
Now: With the subject (either you or your friend) standing relatively still and
relaxed, focus your vision either at the center of the body or the head. And, as
with the previous exercise, throw your vision slightly out-
After a few sessions, you may begin to see the inner aura. This is an egg-
This is not something you are likely to pick up right away, so you’ll have to have
patience with yourself. As I said, you are training yourself to see in a whole new
way. It is worth the effort! Often, once a person has become adept at seeing the
aura, he/she will begin to see the auras of discarnate beings, or those close to
us who have passed on from this earth-
In time, as you practice this, you may begin to see colors in the aura. Some people do, and some don’t. You won’t know which you are until you’ve put the effort in. Simply speaking, the more you develop yourself, psychically, the more likely you are to see aura colors. And, each color in the aura has a meaning or meanings.
Basically speaking, bright, clear colors tell of good health and strong character, while dark or muddy colors can indicate either poor health or a weak or dishonest character.
These colors are of a higher octave of vibration than the colors we normally see. Animals see them readily as they can smell and hear things we are unable to experience. That’s why you often see or hear about animals reacting to (to us) unseen stimuli. As mentioned before, since the colors are on a psychic wavelength, many people can learn to see them with enough work on psychic development.
Here are some of the colors and their traditional meanings:
RED:
CLEAR RED: Courage, driving force. Can be seen in the auras of many great leaders and generals.
CLEAR RED MIXED WITH CLEAR YELLOW: Seen in the auras of many crusader types, people who tend to spend a lot of their time helping others. Often seen in the auras of world leaders and statesmen.
RED WITH A MUDDY DARK BROWN: Can be a meddler, someone with their nose frequently
in other people’s business, forever telling others what they should be doing. Often
seen in famous evangelist-
RED AND HEALTH:
LIGHT RED: (light not bright) Can indicate nervous condition, nervous, jittery behavior.
DULL, MUDDY RED OVER ANY ORGAN: Indicates either present or incipient illness in that organ. Can indicate anything from cancer to a toothache!
The more experienced the aura reader is, the more can be told by the aura-
ORANGE:
CLEAR ORANGE: Basically a good color. Seen in humanitarian type persons, who do
all they can to help others. Usually very considerate, most often thinking of the
other person before they act or make their decisions. (Same as red tinged with yellow)
The more yellowish the orange is, the more virtuous and self-
BROWNISH DULL ORANGE: Lazy, unmotivated …
ORANGE MIXED WITH DULL GREEN: Usually argumentative and strongly opinionated. Will argue just for the sake of arguing, you just can’t win with these people. Better not to waste your time!
ORANGE AND HEALTH: A brownish orange can also indicate kidney problems. If it has a blurred, jagged gray in it, kidney stones could be indicated.
YELLOW:
Usually indicates spirituality. The more golden the shade of yellow, the more spiritual the person is likely to be.
GREEN:
CLEAR GREEN: Healing, teaching, physical growth or regeneration, a friendly and trustworthy, considerate and compassionate sort of person. Doctors often have this green as a predominant color in their aura, as do those we recognize as having a green thumb, the ability to do well with flowers and plants. Their aura radiates to the plants they are working with and nourish them.
Remember – when this or any aura color is tainted with dark, muddy overtones, it pretty much reverses its meaning.
BLUE:
CLEAR BLUE: This is another spiritual color.
DARK BLUE: (Not muddy, just a dark, rich shade of blue.) Seen in people who are growing spiritually and emotionally. A really rich, dark blue is often seen in the auras of missionaries and truly sincere spiritual teachers.
PALE BLUE: procrastination, problems with decision-
INDIGO AND VIOLET:
CLEAR INDIGO AND VIOLET: are colors which indicate psychic growth and development.
Those who are psychic to a high degree often have a lot of indigo and violet in
their aura. They also shows up when one is actively involved in developing psychically.
The Third-
DULL, MUDDY INDIGO AND VIOLET: Watch out for this person; they may be trying to
develop, psychically, in order to do harm to others. Of course, any negativity they
put their psychic powers to work on will bounce back on them ten-
