NUMEROLOGY IN HISTORY

It is believed that the lineage of numerology dates Back 11,000 years, at the very least. Ancient man believed numbers were divine because of their perfection. Numerology has been acknowledged since the beginning of recorded human history, and very probably well before that. However, in its modern form, it was developed around 2500 years ago by a Grecian philosopher by the name of Pythagoras. No one knows just when Pythagoras was born, but it’s thought that he was born around the year 582 B. C.

For his first 60 years, Pythagoras journeyed extensively, learning philosophy and mathematics, in places such as Egypt, Phoenicia, Chaldea and he even studied with the Druids, the Persian Magi and some Indian Brahmans. By the time he was 60 years old he had an extremely complete spiritual and mathematical education. On reaching 60, in around the year 529 B. C., he migrated to Crotoa and established his school of philosophy and metaphysics. And… he taught what has grown to be known as “Esoteric Numerology”.

Principally, numerology is the study of number vibrations and the manner in which they affect not just people but the entire Universe. Physicists and mathematicians have long known that, ultimately, everything can be expressed in numbers. Everything is mathematical and vibrational in nature. Hence – the study of Numerology. Although numbers don’t impact people, directly, they do reflect the object lessons we have descended into this material universe to learn and the way in which we present ourselves while we learn these lessons.

Esoteric Numerology is what is called an empirical science. That is, It has been employed and studied because it works!

In the beginning, it was found that numbers did indeed have an influence in our lives. This came about before there was even any written communication, a long, long time ago. From then on, numbers were examined in various different ways, mathematics, physics and Numerology.

When a Numeroscope is cast for an individual many variables are looked at as well as their timing during this individual’s lifetime. The numeroscope is so individual that the likelihood is about ten billion to one against anyone having precisely the same numeroscope as yours. Ancient physicists, such as Pythagoras, the Father of Modern Physics, the 20th Century’s Albert Einstein, and today’s modern wave and particle theoreticians, have always said that everything physical can be expressed and better understood in numbers. Numerology takes this into the realm of meta-physics, the study of that which is above or beyond the physical. Interest in numerology has lasted thousands of years – because it works!

You can find your numbers by following a simple process. For instance, to find your Birth Number, the digits of your birth date are added and re-added until they are compressed into a single digit. An example birthday: January 20, 1977 (1-20-1977) ~ 1+2+0+1+9+7+7=27 ~ 2+7=9 Your Birth Number is Nine. Here are some brief definitions of what the various Birth Numbers can mean.

ONE: The first number, is seen as a number of beginnings. Number One personality: go-getters, leaders, creative, etc.

TWO: Twos often work well in partnerships and working together with others.

THREE: Threes are creative, outgoing people. Great communicators.

FOUR: Reason and practicality; sometimes a little too set in their ways.

FIVE: Adventurous, craves excitement, lucky gamblers,

SIX: Peace and harmony. Great diplomats, natural care-givers.

SEVEN: Spirituality, learns from ones mistakes.

EIGHT: Successful at whatever they attempt – anything they put their hand to. Can be very spiritual and generous.

NINE: A sacred number, a humanitarian. Many mystics and spiritual leaders carry the Nine vibration strongly in their numbers.
